Recently, $Baidu(BIDU)$ stock surged 8% after the news that 1,000 Apollo Go self-driving taxis in Wuhan city completed a total of 5 million orders. This makes the market view the launch of robotaxis in August as even more promising.
According to a McKinsey report, the robotaxi market is expected to exceed $2 trillion by 2030. IHS Markit predicts that by 2030, the total size of the ride-sharing market in China will reach $315 billion, with robotaxis accounting for 60% of the market share. If the robotaxi fleet expands to 10 million vehicles, the annual revenue could soar to nearly $12 billion.

I am waiting for this moment when self driving is approved and the machine hardly fails. It is always the human that complicated things.

I strongly believe there's a game charger in technology, especially robotaxi and self-driving. Technology has evolved all these years, just like sci-fi movies - Minority Report. Tesla is actively developing more advanced autonomous driving capabilities, such as Full Self-Driving (FSD), which aims to allow vehicles to navigate more complex environments and perform tasks without driver intervention. Thus, Tesla's Autopilot represents a significant step towards autonomous driving, blending cutting-edge technology with ongoing challenges in regulation, safety, and public acceptance.
