@Tiger_comments Asked if i could write an article comparing $Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$, $AST SpaceMobile, Inc.(ASTS)$ and $Redwire Corp.(RDW)$ so here goes.
First up let me be upfront, I own over $27k in rocket lab and it represents 1/3 of my entire portfolio. Space mobile and red wire I own like $250 approx in each but intend to build my position if they prove my thesis to be correct.
So are there any other space companies worth investing In atm? In my opinion no. Only these three have potential. And given my allocation of $$$ it's obvious I have a clear winner picked.
Why rocket lab? It's the number 3 most successful rocket launch company in the world behind spacex and the Chinese government. and you can't invest in the other two. It has the keys to space, and those keys will getting bigger over time. Can it compete with spacex though? That point is mute. Spacex has no hope of supplying the launch market going forward, the market is too big. And frankly many companies needing launch don't want to launch on spacex because star link is there competition.
But launch is only 1/3 of rocket labs business. Most of the income is from design and build of satellites and satellite components and software. This business is already profitable. And then there's the future... once they get the new neutron rocket running they will be building their own constellations... that's when the company's Stock price really goes to Venus. $100, $200? Who knows, but that's in the long term, 5 years time is my prediction. however, it will happen. so rocket lab is something I'll just keep buying. Buying calls, waiting for the stock to rise, selling a few calls and using the profits to excise calls. This way I increase my position using the houses money.
So then there is red wire, no rockets, no real complete satellites but lots satellite components and software. Rocket lab makes a few of the components red wire makes like star trackers, solar panels etc. but red wire makes some cool stuff and has a lot of serious IP and experience in the industry. I believe as the space race picks up red wire will be a player, heck it already has been in the past. So I'll build my position over time.
Third up, space mobile, a more speculative play, or is it. Seriously unprofitable atm, burning money to build there satellite constellation for broadband to mobile, they have now launched 5 satellites that are operating in LEO. But here's the kicker... they launched on a falcon 9. We all know spacex star link does broadband and is looking into broadband to mobile, so does space mobile want to launch on falcon rockets, i think not.
More importantly space mobile is backed by the dinosaurs, AT&T, Verizon, and others. These guys are going out of business if starlink takes hold. Hmmm then there's the announcement by rocket lab that there 2nd and 3rd neutron launches have payloads from a confidential customer. Amazon kyper? Nup, I reckon it's space mobile.
It's a win for space mobile and a win for rocket lab so I'm betting on both.

Absolutely love your perspective on Rocket Lab! 🚀 It's clear that they’ve got the keys to the future of space, especially with their satellite biz and the Neutron rocket on the horizon. As for Space Mobile, you're spot on—backed by the big telecoms, it could be a real disruptor if they can get their constellation right. And Red Wire, while still a bit of a sleeper, definitely has some serious potential in the satellite components space. The future of space tech is looking bright, and it seems you’re all in on the right players.
Thank you so much for your reply and detailed analysis! 💘 💜 💙 💚 💛 🧡
This article will definitely help more Tigers understand the three rocket companies. 🚀
