My Favourite Way To Holiday Is Cruising and Disney Cruise is next on my list

🌟🌟🌟I started cruising in 2015 and since then cruising is my most  favourite way to travel.   I am not the only one that like cruising.  In fact the demand for cruising has rebounded.  Last year's global passenger volume was up 6.8% to 31.7 million compared to 29.7 million in 2019.  By 2027 the number of cruise passengers is expected to reach nearly 40 million.

This can be attributed to a pent up demand coming out of Covid.  That is why many Cruise lines including $Royal Caribbean Cruises(RCL)$  and $Carnival(CCL)$  are building new ships and expanding their business.

$Walt Disney(DIS)$  is rather new to cruising but is planning to expand its 5 ship fleet to 8 ships by next year.  By 2031 Disney will have 13 ships world wide.

Disney's capital expenditures is expected to rise by 27% to USD 7 billion companywide in 2025.  This is driven primarily by final payments for the new ships.

Though still a small business for Disney, the Disney Cruise Line is becoming an increasingly important part of its financial picture.  This comes at a time when Disney's parks segment begins seeing signs of softening demand.  It is expected to bring about USD 3 billion a year, comprising of 3% of Disney's overall 2023 revenue. 

Disney is set to launch its new ship the Disney Adventure in Singapore with its maiden voyage on December 15 2025.  Disney bought Global Dream for 40 million  Euros from the Genting Group on November 16 2022, a huge discount from its original value of 1.8 billion Euros and renamed it Disney Adventure. 

Disney Adventure is the first Disney Ship to be based in Asia with Singapore as its homeport.  It is a massive ship allowing for 6000 passengers, 2111 cabins.

The Disney Adventure will have the longest roller coaster at sea called the Ironcycle Test run and will feature experiences based on Disney, Pixar and Marvel.  There will be 7 different zones which are based on popular Disney properties such as Toy Story, Big Hero 6 and Disney Princess. 

Bookings for the Disney Adventure opens tomorrow on December 10 2024.  Prices for a 3 night cruise for 2 adults starts at USD 958 for an inside cabin right up to USD 3298 for a Concierge cabin. 

I grew on Disney stories like Sleeping Beauty, Star Wars.  I believe that cruising on Disney Adventure will be an absolute delight as Disney knows how to entertain their guests.  After all Disney has been entertaining people from all over the world since 1923.  It celebrated its 100th year Anniversary on October 16 2023.  

Let the fun begins on December 15 2025 on Disney Adventure in our very own cruise centre at Marina Bay, Singapore.
