As 2024 comes to a close, let’s look back at the moments that made this year meaningful. Maybe it’s a spontaneous smile, a long-awaited trip, or a seemingly small moment that turned out to be unforgettable. Share one photo that tells the story of your year, and let’s reflect together on the highs and lows of 2024.

    看着大海，无论快乐还是不快乐，海，给了我短暂的遗忘药，静静的闭上眼睛，听听海潮的声音，呼吸这海的味道，看着夕阳渐渐西沉，把最后的美丽都倾尽于天空。原来，世界上有这么多美好的都默默地为我存在着……

    I remember driving in New Zealand and saw this scene in front of me. I stopped and took a picture to remind myself that sometimes we could be stuck at a crossroads, the sky may be gloomy and things don’t look so good ahead.


    However, there will always be sunshine after the rain. Always seek wise advice, discern and choose the best direction. Take courage, stay disciplined and persevere.     🌟🌟🌟A photo tells a thousand words and this photo which I took on my cruise on Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Sea earlier this year reflects ingenuity and creativity.

    We were on a cruise to the lovely Pacific Islands and on this particular day we needed to take a tender boat to reach Mystery Island.  Mystery Island is named because when it is high tide, the island disappears covered by the ocean. 

    So in order not to stand in a long queue as there were 4000 passengers, we use our slippers or shoes as markers for our position in the queue.   You can see some of the passengers barefooted in the photo sitting at the tables. 

    Isn't that a brilliant idea?  On looking back, this shows that the human mind is really capable of thinking creatively and outside the box.  That is how some businesses are created and how the best ideas are the ones that are least expected.

    While in Perpignan last year with my family, I snapped this photo and couldn’t help but reflect on how much it reminded me of trading. The cat sitting there, calm and focused, felt like the perfect symbol of patience—something I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way) is key in the markets. ❤️


    It’s like trading: you need to wait for the right setup, the right moment, and not jump in just because you’re restless. The Buddha statue next to it? That’s the reminder to stay grounded, no matter how crazy the market gets. For me, this moment summed up a big lesson—sometimes, doing nothing is the smartest move. Patience pays off, both in life and in trading. ⏰
