I am increasingly interested in collecting SpaceX (SPCX) stock for the long term because I believe its fundamentals and growth potential go far beyond traditional aerospace businesses. SpaceX has already established a strong position in rocket launches and satellite communications through Starlink. Its ability to develop reusable rockets has helped improve launch efficiency and reduce costs, creating a competitive advantage that is difficult for rivals to replicate. For me, this is not simply a bet on space exploration, but an investment in a company that is building important infrastructure for the future.
Another reason I am bullish is Starlink's growing commercial potential. Satellite internet can serve customers in remote areas where traditional broadband infrastructure is limited, while its applications in aviation, maritime services and mobile connectivity could create additional revenue streams. At the same time, SpaceX continues to develop its Starship programme, which could expand its capabilities in launching satellites and supporting future space missions. These projects carry significant technical and execution risks, but they also provide multiple opportunities for long-term growth.
What attracts me most is SpaceX's ability to combine technological innovation with commercial opportunities. Unlike companies that are still trying to prove whether their business models can work, SpaceX already has established operations and revenue-generating businesses. If it can continue improving launch efficiency, expanding Starlink subscriptions and executing its ambitious projects, its earnings potential could grow substantially over time. However, I also understand that a great company does not automatically make a great investment at every valuation. I will pay close attention to its financial performance, future growth prospects and the price I am willing to pay.
My strategy is to accumulate gradually rather than rush in because of market excitement or IPO speculation. SpaceX could become a valuable long-term holding, but I do not expect its journey to be smooth, and a high valuation could limit future returns. I would rather build my position patiently, manage my exposure and give the business time to execute its vision. For me, the goal is not to chase a quick profit from a potential listing, but to own a piece of a company that could play a major role in the future of space technology and global connectivity. Patience, fundamentals and discipline will guide my investment decisions.
