Hi Tigers,
Welcome back to Week 2 of the Tiger Writing Camp, a series of educational events where we share with you a set of writing skills.
Using writing tools is critical. When used effectively, these tools can enhance the exposure of your content and significantly improve its overall quality.
This practical guide for using tools today is mainly divided into four parts:
Three posting scenarios in the app
Basic Tools for mobile and web posting
Advanced tools to improve your posts
"Be a Pro Writer II" writing contest and rewards
I.Three posting scenarios in the Tiger Trade App
1. Topic Participation:
Major scenarios for entering the topic and posting are shown in the figure below:1) On the stock discussion page, you may enter a relative topic
2) On "For You" page, participate in trending topics to win rewards
3) Participate in topics inside a post, such as those from @Daily_Discussion
2. Stock-related Posting:
Besides participating in a topic, you may also publish posts about any individual stock on the pages below: 1) On the stock discussion page, you can click on the "pencil" icon in the bottom right corner to directly make a post on a stock, or you may select your bullish or bearish view on the top to make a post.
2) On the portfolio page, you may click the "share" button to share your profit and loss on any stock with the Tiger community. Feel free to add your story with this stock.
3. Posting Events hosted by Tiger Official
Here are some popular Tiger community official accounts that will regularly host rewarding posting events: @TigerEvents, @MillionaireTiger, @Tiger_SG, @Tiger_AU, etc.
Of course, besides the three major "posting scenes" mentioned above, perhaps most of our users like to "post directly".
Whether you publish short posts or long posts, high-quality content will be fairly pushed by the algorithm. A post with a good title, illustrated with pictures and text, or containing professional and rigorous analysis will indeed be more popular.
Therefore, we have prepared some basic and content enhancement tools for you next, which may help you write better posts.
II. Basic Tools to Improve APP & Web Posting
According to your writing preferences, whether you choose to publish on the mobile app or on the website((https://ttm.financial/), there are some small tools that are worth using.
1. Posting on mobile APP
Highlights of Functions in Red Box "1"(from left to right)
Text: You can bold, italicize, and add subheadings to paragraphs
Images & Stock Charts: You can insert local images and also add stock charts to your post
"$" tool: Don't forget to tag the relevant stock ticker to your post
Tiger emoji: Makes your content more friendly and visually appealing
"@" tool: Mention your friends in the post to check it out!
Polls: Allow you to generate more interaction with your readers
Notes of Functions in Red Box "2":
As mentioned earlier, you can make bullish/bearish views on individual stock pages. In fact, you can also make bullish/bearish views on stocks after tagging "$" them in your posts. The clearer your views and the more detailed your content, the more likely it is to be liked by users and recommended by the algorithm.
2. Posting on the web()
The web version of the community makes it easier to create posts and also provides richer editing functions.
More diverse font and paragraph editing functions
More complete K-chart functions: supports intraday chart, 5-day chart, daily, weekly, monthly chart
Link function: can jump to any news or post in the Tiger Community
Video upload function: (uploading of YouTube video links is currently in development! Stay tuned!)
Cover picture function: can set 1-3 beautiful cover pictures for your article
On the bottom vote can be set
III. Advanced tools for posting
In addition to the basic editing tools mentioned above, the following advanced tools are also available for use. We welcome everyone to use them and feel free to comment to suggest more useful tools.
1. AI Creation: ChatGPT
The ChatGPT, which has sparked the AI craze, has become increasingly popular and is said to be challenging Google's search dominance. This "big data robot" is definitely worth exploring to help you create and refine your content. For example, when asked about Tesla's competitive environment, ChatGPT provided the following answer. As long as you get a good question and ask wisely, you can almost get any answer you want.
2. Visual beautification or fun enhancement tools:
We have used CHAT GPT to compile a list of free image and GIF material websites for you to use. We hope these tools will make your content more lively and engaging. Of course, you can also search directly on the internet, but for the sake of content responsibility and to enhance trust in your content, please try to label the sources.

If you are interested in technical analysis or fundamental analysis, don't worry. The Tiger Trade app and PC version have some tools that are great supplements for your analysis.
PC platform technical analysis tools:
On the stock quote page of the PC platform, various trend line drawing tools and pattern analysis tools can be used to analyze the support and resistance levels, pattern analysis, etc. of the stocks you are interested in.
You can select different tools by clicking on the dots inside the red box in the figure below, draw lines, and take screenshots of the suitable charts to share in your post, which can be used to visually display your technical analysis.
Fundamental analysis tools:
For fundamental analysis enthusiasts, Tiger Trade's mobile app and PC platform provide ample financial report data, valuation analysis, target price, and even overall fundamental analysis data of individual stocks for investors to refer to.
If you are about to write a longer company analysis, you can directly click on the angle you are interested in and extract relevant data and charts for the relevant period to supplement your analysis content.
The above are some scenes and tools we have compiled for you to help you create higher quality content. We look forward to your high-quality posts being appreciated and recognized by the community members.

Comments
1) You invest what you can manage with your extra cash. E.g. Just imagine if you wake up tomorrow, the tiger account cuts by half, can you still lead the same life style as usual.
2) Have a investment plan in place. If you decides to invest 30 percent of your savings, make sure that you keep the limit.
3) If you are confident with the stocks on hand, you need to know your ultimate goal in selling the stock at which level of price. Is it 20%, 30% or more. You need to have at least 2 selling points.
4) When the stock price is down, DCA can be a strategy but need to set the limit by entering when stock price is down by 30percent or 40percent. Once it hits the target, you buy in. If it gets lower again, repeat it and take a hold position from there.
5) The last strategy is never invest in speculative stocks that goes up and down like a roller coaster. “Greed when everyone is fear and fear when everyone is Greed.”
Cheers.
