$Singtel(Z74.SI)$  With a substantial SGD1.19 billion and a robust EBITA growth of up to 27% amounting to S$738 million, the company demonstrated remarkable financial performance. The previous years gain is due to the issurance of shares (an one of event) by Telkomsel to intergrate Indihome. so it's not really a decrease in net profit it's just a one-time giving of shares. Thus, the current year's lower growth rate isn't necessarily due to a drop in performance but rather the absence of that previous one-time gain. $Straits Times Index(STI.SI)$  The super-rich are choosing to stay in Singapore for several reasons.  Firstly, the country offers a relatively low tax rate for high-income individuals and corporations, making it an attractive destination for those seeking to minimize their tax burden.  Secondly, Singapore is known for its political stability and strong rule of law, providing a safe and secure environment for individuals and businesses. Additionally, Singapore offers a high quality of life, with excellent healthcare, education, infrastructure, and a vibrant cultural scene. It is also a global financial and business hub with a well-developed financial sector, strong regulatory framework, and highly skilled workforce.  Moreover,

The Super Rich choising Singapire as the world’s safest haven to park their money iis both good and bad news to the average Singaporeans. Singapore’s political stability and the government’s friendly policy to let the Super Rich people set up Home Office in Singapore is the main motivation for the rich to invest in Singapore. Their investments move the price of Singapore’s real estate up. Many Singaporeans feel they are now ‘richer’ because tge price of their property has appreciated greatly. But many Singaporeans also feel poorer because those planning to buy a property cannot catch up with the increase in price.
Singapore is a logistic and financial hub for most of the companies in the world. It have a very stable government that manage the country very secure and safe. It is a multi-races country that the people can stay harmony together. Moreover Singapore is a very small country with limited landscape for housings. Therefore, the rich people still think it is worthwhile to invest in Singapore real estate as the land is scarce. Give me a like if you support me. @Ronald37 @Danielnkl @pfitz @馬雜役 @LMSunshine

1. Clean and educated government that follows the rule of law 2. Strategic shipping location that is the gateway of Asia where West meets the East 3. World class financial centre that allows capital to flow freely in and out 4. Technological hub with major US and China IT companies setting up regional HQs 5. Top universities in Asia providing quality education for their younger generations 6. Established medical institutions or hospitals that offers first world medical services for older generations
Its obvious that SG is a prime choice for investments as: 1. Its a stable economy 2. Corruption is low 3. More potential upside due to positive flywheel effect. On real estate prices, private property or commercial property prices are likely to trend up, with little effect on local HDB houses. What are your thoughts? [Grin]
True, I feel safe even walking alone to the hotel at night time. Besides, I love the energy from the SG colleague/working culture as I like the fast pace where jobs can be done efficiently. Nevertheless, the government also plays an important role to make the country's economy even stronger which provides the confidence to international trading!

I think his wife should buy the whole street. Singapore is considered a safe haven, even if property prices dropped in future, land is still in high demand as compared to other Asian countries. so nothing surprising that they choose to park their money in property in Singapore. maybe if we walk past there often enough, can catch a glimpse of them. haha

Singapore has many benefits. Low income tax, lack of wealth, and inheritance tax. No capital gains tax as well. Good healthcare, outstanding education opportunities, and pro business policy. Safe, low crime rate, without natural disaster, multicultural, and has a rich culinary diversity.

Singapore is a magnet for global capital (maybe not global talent any longer [Thinking]) due to safety, cleanliness, rule of the law, multi culturalism, modern infrastructure and much more
Singapore is much safer than China when it comes to asset investment . Property prices here have been on a steady uptrend. I think it will boost consumer sentiment in the country.
