BIG TECH WEEKLY | AI boom at the inflection point?

Big-Tech’s PerformanceIf the tide goes out, who's the first to be caught swimming naked? I'm afraid that's a topic tech companies are starting to worry about this week. While NVDA's earnings continue to indicate strong demand, the hardware cycle tends to lag behind software, and this week's earnings reports from several software companies gave sensitive investors in the market a hint of danger. Combined with poor Treasury auctions, U.S. bond yields remain high, and hawkish responses from top Fed officials have put pressure on stock market liquidity as well.By the close of trading on May 20, the best performer over the past week was $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ +16.38%, followed by $Apple(AAPL)$ +0.2%, while all oth

Are You Ready For AI PCs? Who To Watch Next After Microsoft?

I think we have seen or heard news from some of the biggest names in computing, they are all sizing up resources into building Generative AI into their devices (mainly personal computing, or PC). These move hopes to help inject a boost of AI excitement into the PC market which have been suffering from low demand and become venerable. Why PC Now, Not Before? As we have already observed from some of the big names in AI, most of today’s AI software runs in the cloud, so why not the standard PC or Mac? They should be able to handle the generative AI work. But for this, we need to understand that there are some limitations on how much AI work can be done on the device, because there is only one process in the AI which is suitable on devices which is inference. These also depend on support from

My Watchlist [106]: TEAM... Work Makes The Dream Work?

Hi everyone. Today I’ll be looking at a company which engages in providing team collaboration and productivity software: Atlassian Corporation (NASDAQ: TEAM) TEAM’s monthly chart is forming a possible inverse head and shoulder pattern with the shoulders forming at the 165.51 pivot. On the weekly chart, we can see that TEAM has been making higher highs and lows ever since it IPO’ed in 2016. The support trendline (in green) has held firm since Dec’16. It is currently trading in an ascending channel (in blue) since it retested its trendline support in Oct’22. While TEAM has hit the channel support trendline, it closed with a bearish marabozu candle, which suggests more downside next week. For the inverse head and shoulder pattern to be valid, TEAM will need to hold the 165.51 level. On the

$Salesforce.com(CRM)$  🇺🇸💻 Salesforce $CRM One Pager Is Salesforce a buy after the huge dip? 🏆 Score 6.2/10 🎯 My fair price estimation is around $240 (note that this is an average between 3 methods and the analyst consensus is high, increasing the average) 🐂 For the bull case - The company is growing at a good rate - Some elements (tableau, slack) are growing even faster - The company has rarely been this cheap - Results were good, reaction seems excessive - A lot of cash available 🐻 For the bear case - Some fear that AI will disrupt the business model (I don't but this won't help the valuation) - SBC are very high, like for a huge part of the US tech stocks - Capital efficiency is disturbingly low What do you think of Salesforce?

C$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$an Marvell Technology (MRVL) keep up with the upward trend of other semiconductor companies this time? Absolutely, and here's why. First off, Marvell has been making waves with its focus on high-growth markets like 5G, cloud computing, and automotive. These sectors are booming, and Marvell’s tech is right at the heart of it. They’ve also made smart acquisitions, like Inphi, boosting their data center and networking capabilities. This strategic move has positioned them well to capitalize on the increasing demand for data processing power. Moreover, their financials have been solid. Consistent revenue growth and a strong product pipeline suggest they’re in a good place to ride this semiconductor wave. Finally, Marvell’s in

They maintain an Outperform rating, with a price target reduced from $325 to $315, remaining optimistic, especially as the AI narrative develops.
