Only workable if you have the money and are willing to hold 100 units of the stock. To some, this might be too much risk if this is too big a portion of the portfolio. Great idea though.

By November, if ABBV is trading for $120, or $110, or even $10, they still have to buy 100 shares at $130.But, If ABBV is trading above $130, the put option expired worthless, and they keep the $310 option premium.The net capital at risk is equal to the strike price of 130, less the 3.10 in option premium. So, if assigned, the net cost basis will be 126.90.
