Galactic）的宇宙飞船升空，并在约40多分钟后顺利回程。而9天之后，全球首富贝索斯，也将开启太空之旅。\n太空竞赛往往是大国间的竞技，但如今，太空探索已经不是各国政府的专属领域，布兰森开展首次民间太空之旅，就被视为带领太空旅游普及化踏出重要一步。\n换个角度看地球是挺美，不过，太空之旅花费巨大，并不是所有人都能支付得起这一张昂贵的“船票”。\n\n\n\n\n\n有品位的太空旅行\n\n\n\n\n对于一手创建了维珍商业帝国的理查德·布兰森来说，再建立一个探索太空的航空航天公司不过是一件水到渠成的事。2004年，维珍银河在万众瞩目中诞生，在当时，布兰森便承诺要打造一家有品位的太空旅行公司。13年后，维珍银河的子公司维珍轨道问世，并于今年成功完成了两次有效载荷。\n发展太空旅游业对于热衷高空跳伞和热气球运动的布兰森来说，是一件既符合他的兴趣，又符合商业利益的事。2019年，在与一家公开上市的投资基金合并后，维珍银河正式在纽约证券交易所上市，这也让其有了充足的资金与潜在的商业对手竞争。“我们足足花了14年开发我们的航天项目。”布兰森在接受彭博电视采访时说道，“这很困难，但探索太空本就是困难的。”\n太空旅行圆满结束后，各界纷纷祝贺。布兰森表示，这一趟太空旅行，是他一生中最完整的一次体验，相当激动。\n\n\n\n\n\n贝索斯将飞得更高\n\n\n\n\n布兰森的维珍银河很容易让人想起亚马逊创始人贝索斯的蓝色起源。对于凭借电商巨擘亚马逊公司（Amazon）荣登全球首富宝座的贝索斯来说，征服无垠的太空也是他的宏大目标之一。他将于7月20日启程前往太空，同行的还有他的弟弟马克（Mark Bezos）、花费了2800万竞得这趟旅程的中标者，以及特别获邀的82岁女飞行员芬克（Wally Funk）。\n尽管布兰森一再对两人之间的竞争关系轻描淡写，但同样的富豪背景，同样的太空旅行业务还是让人无可避免地把他们放到一起进行比较。\n维珍银河和蓝色起源的相同点在于，计划将游客送到太空边缘，进行一场次轨道太空飞行。他们将到达距离地球80至100公里的高空，并且经历数分钟的失重状态。\n但两者采用了不同的方式进行太空飞行。\n维珍银河的飞行计划是将双机身航天飞机与太空飞船相连接，待飞行到45000英尺的高度后，飞机会被自动释放。此时，乘客们将能体验到短暂的失重感，并通过航天飞机的舷窗欣赏到美妙的太空风光。\n而蓝色起源的飞行计划则是发射一个可回收的火箭，包括一个可容纳6名乘客的太空舱和助推器。太空舱从火箭脱离后，飞越卡门线（距离海平面大约100公里），人就真正进入太空。之后火箭返回地球，太空舱在降落伞的帮助下缓缓着陆。100公里这个高度比布兰森的太空之旅高。维珍银河过去3次测试飞行的高度中，最高点为距离海平面89.9公里。\n如果一切顺利，这将会是蓝色起源首次载人到太空。维珍银河早前已经成功进行三次太空飞行，其中，5月的一次载有两名机师。\n\n\n\n\n\n太空旅游竞赛升温\n\n\n\n\n布兰森和贝索斯并不是唯二想要进入太空的富豪。\n一大波金主们已经排队出现在了下一波飞天的名单上，这其中包括一位俄罗斯的电影导演兼演员，她将为国际空间站拍摄一部故事片。还有日本亿万富翁前泽友作和他的摄像师，以及付款处理公司Shift4 Payments创始人贾里德·伊萨克曼。\n在贾里德·伊萨克曼的太空之旅“灵感4号”面前，布兰森和贝索斯的旅行就像是“过家家”。首先，贾里德·伊萨克曼乘坐的SpaceX Crew Dragon飞行器将会在一个更高的高度上绕地飞行，类似1965年美国的“双子座计划”，而且他将在太空中待上两到三天，有充足的时间感受太空生活。更让人惊叹的是，贾里德·伊萨克曼将会亲自驾驶SpaceX Crew Dragon飞行器，虽然SpaceX Crew
