How to solve the supply chain problems? Otherwise, on the ground, the average man faces inflation leading to real wage reduction and bank rates increase; hard to have a loan!

U.S. stocks moved slightly higher Wednesday after a key inflation report showed a historic gain but largely matched expectations. US inflation rises 7% over the past year, highest since 1982. The consumer price index, an inflation gauge that measures costs across dozens of items, rose 7% in December from a year earlier, the fastest pace since June 1982.

the inflation are caused by supply chain challenges and supply issues amidst the printing of free money and $120 billion monthly buy back during the pandemic. if supply chain is one of the key bottlenecks, I am not sure how increasing of the interest rates will help. this remains to be seen but the government play book may need to consider other measures to ease the supply chain too.
