With US stock futures trading lower this morning on Thursday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:
- Amazon.com(NASDAQ:AMZN) rose nearly 2% in premarket trading after cutting over 17,000 employees.Its layoffs will affect more than 17,000 employees, a higher number than the company initially planned and one that would represent the most reductions revealed so far during a wave of cutbacks at major technology companies, according to people familiar with the matter.
- Wall Street expects Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (NASDAQ:WBA) to post quarterly earnings at $1.13 per share on revenue of $32.77 billion before the opening bell.
- Richardson Electronics, Ltd. (NASDAQ:RELL) reported better-than-expected earnings and sales results for its second quarter.
- Analysts are expecting Constellation Brands, Inc. (NYSE:STZ) to have earned $2.90 per share on revenue of $2.40 billion for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings before the markets open.
- Vyant Bio, Inc. (NASDAQ:VYNT) said it has engaged LifeSci Capital as its advisor to explore strategic alternatives.
- Analysts expect Conagra Brands, Inc. (NYSE:CAG) to post quarterly earnings at $0.66 per share on revenue of $3.26 billion before the opening bell.
