Make one of Microsoft’s newer technologies configurable! Blazor and Netlify in perfect harmony. Is it Even Possible? Yes, it can be done! You can inject Netlify environment variables into your Blazor applications! Check out the example site: BlazorWasmNetlify Or the repo behind the site: GitHub - princefishthrower/blazor-netlify-env-injection: How to inject environment Netlify variables into a Blazor web app. In the example, I set the value of testEnvironmentVariable , which lives in JavaScript and Blazor, to my_super_cool_test_environment_variable_set_in_the_netlify_guid . And… it works! First One? Now, I really like
Start developing and running WPF applications on a Mac in no time! Mac + Windows? WPF On Mac? Our software careers, projects, and assignments truly can take us anywhere. For an upcoming project, I’ll be developing a Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) application! The thing is, I have a Mac… …and you can’t build or run WPF projects natively on a Mac! So… you have to get… creative… with a virtual machine (VM).* 😃 There are some interesting caveats in the whole setup, so I figured I’d share the notes I took to get everything working. After about a half day’s effort, I believe I’ve arrived at a pretty decent workflow for working on WPF apps on a Mac! Let’s get started. *As far as I know, the setup described in this post will only work for Macs with In
A simple script gets the job done! DreamStudio prompt: “Photorealistic chalkboard with complex calculus and matrix math equations on it.” On my blog, I like to keep track of all those who (I hope) I’ve educated or informed over the years over a variety of education and blogging platforms. I noticed that for Substack, however, there seems to be no “total views” statistic. (Much like Medium — indeed, this post was inspired by Kevin Peter’s post on how to calculate this for Medium — currently no longer works anymore because of how Medium has changed their stats, but that’s another story for another time.) Anyway, getting that total view count from a
Thursday’s Selloff in the Nasdaq: High Historical Probability?
Since 2022, 100%: Rapid gap fills of large gaps up in A period typically lead to further selling. The Big Sell Let’s take an AMT overview look (30 minute candles) at last Thursday’s session in the Nasdaq: Yikes. That is one nasty TPO! If you missed the opening range breakout, the second flush after the last effort / consolidation towards the end of A and the beginnging of B would have been a sign that we might be in for a very emotional session to the sell side. Indeed, after A period, shorts I had payed handsomely. I can’t help but admit I felt a little offsides, however, and closed my positions far earlier than I likely should have. I wanted to do some more research on what typically happens in the Nasdaq on large gap up fill sessions, and how far directionally a session c
From the mountains Hi all! Back with another trade plan. Yesterday was a badly red day, I found myself tilting in the simulator. I’ve just come back from a long bike n’ hike with my mind totally cleared. Tilting WILL NOT occur today, as I mentioned I am taking 2 trades only today, one 30 second OR breakout and one around the location or timing of IB low / IB high / NHOD / NLOD. It’s frustrating, but I need to build good habits in the simulator or I’m just setting myself back what could potentially be years from being profitable if I start following bad habits. Thursday’s Session Recap MNQ opened for the cash session at 14994.25, within the previous day’s trading range. After a small establishment upwards of the 30 second opening range, it was all selling from there. I screwed up
