If the market overly associates COIN with BTC, it may underestimate Coinbase's significance and growth potential within the trading ecosystem. Therefore, from a fundamental perspective, COIN may currently be undervalued and warrants deeper analysis and attention.

$Coinbase Global, Inc.(COIN)$ Can someone explain why BTC went down in December even though the demand far outpaced the supply. Bitcoin ETFs purchased 51K BTC though roughly 14K BTC were mined. Shouldn't the price have gone up much more rather than declining?

They sell off their BTC, use the convertible Bond proceeds that are already secured and ready to deploy, and repurchase back in

$Coinbase Global, Inc.(COIN)$ This stock is undervalued if you peg it to BTC only (ignoring rest of crypto for a moment). It was 270 to 280 when BTC was 70K roughly, i.e. the same price but BTC is trading at +90K range now. I think this should cross 300 plus easily in a week or so if the broader market holds.

$MicroStrategy(MSTR)$ For those paying close attention to the market cap vs. bitcoin value please give it a rest. You have NO idea how much interest MicroStrategy could receive for the bitcoin they hold. They could do one of almost 20 different things I can think of with their bitcoin to make money without selling it, and I'm no where near as smart as Saylor. So relax. They will make tons of money on their bitcoin holdings.

$Coinbase Global, Inc.(COIN)$ Sold these puts on COIN last month. Could close it out and lock in the profit versus holding until expiration. With bitcoin reclaiming 100K though, it might be fine to hold a few more days and close out at 0.05 or lower. Will resell puts on COIN after we close out these contracts, targeting the Feb 7 expiration and 195 strike.

I’ll never understand why someone would short MSTR as BTC is going to make ATH and trump with his pro crypto people are taking office. But to each their own I guess. Not sure why someone would willingly choose to lose.
