$Eli Lilly(LLY)$Lilly fails to meet expectations of Wall Street for one quarter due to production issues and distribution issues and you announce that the run-up is over. Whatever you do, don't give up that day job to become an analyst.Novo Nordisk finally got their act together and once the fda removes their weight-loss drugs from the shortage list, patent law will be enforced, ending compounding and cheap alternatives.Maybe it never occurred you but if Eli Lilly is having problems with distribution and Manufacturing enough volume, the same problems will present themselves if and when the competition arrives.
$Quantumscape Corp.(QS)$Decreasing fast charging from 30 minutes down to 12 minutes is significant but not nearly as important as lowered battery degradation.Charging a battery in one minute doesn’t help if the battery degrades by 80% in the process.Tesla batteries have a 30 minute fast charge that consumers don’t use daily because it degrades the battery.I’d be happy if QS batteries had a 35 minute fast charge that didn’t degrade the battery.Based upon disclosed results, QS has managed to decrease charge times AND battery degradation. You don’t have to pick and choose when you fast charge. Fast charge every time. It won’t hurt the battery.THAT’S the real selling point.
$Gevo(GEVO)$47k out of a total of 280 million shares equates to only 0.016%. Although it is a significant amount you have for a retail investor, its nothing when you look at the total. Also, if you have almost 150K invested, why would you want to get a profit of only $470 lol. You can't even buy a GPU with that pocket money.
$Intel(INTC)$I spoke to my broker at Morgan Stanley today about selling covered calls on INTC.He recommended against it because he thought that the stock was so cheap that restricting the upside by selling covered calls would not be smart. Who knows if he is right, but he is a pretty sharp guy. I have not yet made up my mind on this matter.
$Microsoft(MSFT)$Now as for MSFT the downturn is mainly do (as I understand it) to a rotation out of tech because of the fear they are overvalued. My pers opinion as a former tech person and now entrepreneur that MSFT regardless how you feel about them (and I despise Win 10/11 Win 7 was the crown) its still the best game in town and because of their pricing/license model, they have turned it into a revenue machine that I've not seen in decades. As a business person, regrettably I just updated 8 machines from WIN 7 to 10 and 11. All the stubborn people still on 7 will have no choice but to upgrade and then they will be in the software loop with no turning back! This with AI and ....ok....going to admit it here, Microsoft
$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$some pullback is healthy and nothing goes up in a straight line. plus, october is notoriously lousy for stocks. come earnings, especially if they hit it out of the park it will resume it's upward climb.
$SIA(C6L.SI)$The major market trend hasn't ended yet. First, I'll invest 10 million in the airline sector to establish a base position for observation, and then gradually transfer positions from non-bank finance to aviation and real estate. My experience is that in the second phase of the stock market, the main focus is on rotation; as long as it doesn't fade away, it will eventually rise. Remember not to chase high-beta technology stocks.
$SSE Comp(000001.SH)$In fact, the market should have dropped yesterday, but an unknown knight in white armor suddenly appeared, charging into the fray and causing a V-shaped rebound. Unfortunately, their strength was limited.Today, there's the depreciation of the yuan, and two neighboring countries are brewing conflicts. The Hong Kong stock market gave up resistance early in the morning, and what's being pulled up in the market are high-position themes. You tell me how it can rise... I want to take a light position to bottom fish but don't even know what to buy.Maybe I'll wait and see what happens after a drop tomorrow morning.
$Direxion Daily FTSE China Bear 3X Shares(YANG)$Due to continuous foreign capital sell-offs and various unspeakable objective reasons, the Hong Kong stock market has plummeted since the beginning of the year, with valuations now lower than the historical lows.Analyses that focus on high interest rates and the safety of the CSI 300 are essentially nonsense. The valuation of the Hong Kong stock market is already shockingly low, yet these analysts do not seem to be allocating funds there.Even so, no one dares to buy.Under the dual pressures of a liquidity crisis and unspeakable reasons, the market is still falling.Saving the Hong Kong stock market has a demonstrative significance and effectiveness that surpasses that of boo
