Avoid investment scams. Investments that promise enormous returns in a short period of time and sound too good to be true are probably not true or come with significant risks.
The most recent mistake that I did this year was betting on oil prices would go up after the pull back. Some analysts were saying crude oil would rise above $100 but look at the prices now. The price just goes lower and lower instead.
