      why I love to Invest

A photo of SMU Connexion, taken while waiting to start my run :DInvesting It is where people who are academically dumber can excel with the right mindset and behaviours. You can read up on Ronald Read, a cleaner who passed away with $8M in stocks. Why I enjoy investing so much is because every stock and its underlying company is a story. Each of them are telling a story and we get an update on the next chapter everytime they update us on their new products/services and their earnings every quarter. When you invest, you get to have yourself financially invested in their business and future, their story. Analysts will write up reports every few months with divided views on where the company is heading, everyone will have their own perspective and u get to see it all play out before ur ey

      My Picks For The Week

Marina Bay Sands Taken While On My Usual Friday Runbuy the dip on my favourites: data analytics company $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ ,spatial data company $Gores Holdings VI Inc(GHVI)$ and fintech $Social Capital Hedosophia Holdings Corp. V(IPOE)$ I will be watching out for $NIO Inc.(NIO)$ and $Lemonade, Inc.(LMND)$ earnings and see their guidance for the year. Another trend that I am interested in is cybersecurity, so I will be watching out for $Okta Inc.(OKTA)$ on wednesday. As Warren Buffett says, the stock price at any point in time just shows if a company is over or undervalued at that given time. If you are an investor, you won't have to even look at the stock price for the next 5 years. Let your focus be on the company that you've invested in, not the stock price movements. En

      Greener Than Red

"Stock prices tend to fall faster than they rise, but they tend to go up more than they go down” — David GardnerUse facts, not your emotionsStocks on a correction or crash tend to fall much more on a single day. However, they all tend to go up as we know the S&P's annualises a return regardless of all the crashes that it has gone through. Chill and do the necessaryIt is not yet time to run, but it is well worth taking this break and re-do a thorough analysis of our portfolio, and determine if our risk exposure suits our needs. It is important to carry out the planning always with a cool head, in order to execute it in the best way, under any scenario.Have a good weekend everyone!

      Stay The Course

Singapore Bayfront Area Taken On One Of My RunsIts always a good time to add more, but rmb to have a long term perspective which means to prepare to hold ur stocks for 5-10 years. Corrections like these will be nothing in hindsight. Look at the s&p graph. The great depression, the dot com and GFC are all there but look how small they are now. If we look ahead from this, this correction will probably wont even be visible on the graph. On the off chance that this is a major crash, well like I said, have a long term perspective and u will be fine. $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$did not stop making cars, people just panic sold their stock and it is getting a revaluation. Same thing for every other stock. Focus on the company u r investing in,
