      Investment Lesson Learnt From Wagner Russia Conflict.

      @JC888
      On Fri, 23 Jun 2023, Russian mercenary Wagner Group, rebelled against the Russian military. The mutiny occurred following increasing tensions between the Russian Ministry of Defense and Wagner's leader Yevgeny Prigozhin. While watching the news unfolded before us, I begin to wonder whether there is any investment lesson to be learnt from this “surprise” turn of event. I confessed, sometimes I like to draw parallelism between an event (political or otherwise) and Wall Street. Actually, if you look closely, there are many of such instances just that they could be subtle and with the blink of an eye, passes us by without even the slightest of notice. LOL ! Perverse? You decide as I lay bare my “analysis”. Assumptions / Hypothesis: Russian government = (equals to) Wall Street. Wagner group

      In a “surprise” turn of event, both S&P 500 and Nasdaq ended Thu, 22 June’s trading in “positive” territory. When Market Called It A Day: DJIA: -0.01% (-4.81 to 33,946.71). S&P 500: +0.37% (+16.20 to 4,381.89). Nasdaq: +0.95% (+128.41 to 13,630.61). There wasn’t anything “new” particularly that Mr Powell has touched on in his meeting with US Senate Banking Committee. Still tolling the same execution line to the tune of: More interest rate increases are likely, to bring down inflation. A holistic review of capital requirements for US bigger banks. There was more discussion on this subject as a result of questions from the Committee. FedWatch - CME tool After Mr Powell’s speech, the latest FedWatch CME tool hints “very strongly” that a July 2023 interest hike of +0.25% is coming in a

      Hot stocks covered call reference [June 23]

      @OptionsTracker
      Selling covered call options (sell covered call) is a strategy adopted by many large funds. It can also be used by retail investors in the US stock market.You can get income while holding it. This strategy is very suitable for stocks that have long-term positions, but they have not moved but they are not in a bearish position recently or are in a bearish position recently. It can be a good strategy for mature investors to roll over when holding some targets for a long time. Income comparison Assume that investors hold 200 shares of Amazon from January 1 to December 17, 2021 If there is no operation during the holding period, the final total assets will be USD 675,484 If the covered call strategy is carried out, it will be operated once a week; if 100 shares are sold after the exercise, ano
