The war exposed the vulnerability of assets invested in Middle East. There will be huge outflows from the region. Naturally Singapore will be one of the alternatives. Middle East has always been a hot spot for violence and war. These investors who thought the minuscule tax benefit is worth the risk are paying big time for it now.

DBS is earning billions in profits. So much so that they can even promise you steady dividends for next few years. I look at the entire STI and there is not one company earning this much every year and willing to share that much of their cash. Going forward, DBS continues to take advantage of AI to cut costs while expanding revenue from the wealth coming into this region. So it's as safe an investment as it gets. The saying goes that if DBS fails, then Singapore itself will be in dire straits. It's that big a part of our economy

our local banks still earn billions in profits and give good dividends. It's not as if their profits fell off a cliff. So if price comes down a bit I might even buy more

$SINGAPORE AIRLINES LTD(C6L.SI)$  Everything is going great for SIA. Dec is time for global travel and I believe this will pushup profit margins. Visa free travel for Chinese to Singapore and a few other countries will be a booster.

$Sea Ltd(SE)$ E-commerce can only get more entrenched when people are hooked on the convenience of buying at the click of a mouse. It is getting so prevalent that retail stores are feeling the pinch. It doesn't matter which country. So when actions become habit and more and more people get intobuying online then we can be quite certain that sales will keep improving. Especially for SE Asia where Shopee has a major presence, people are growing in purchasing power ashousehold incomes rise. Vietnam in particular.
