  It is something that is just waiting to happen. There should be more criteria to assess a company other than profits, productivity and financial results. These MBOs casacade down to the whole management chain such that top management to even lower management are pushed to do things fast and quick and with as little resources as possible. It is a deadly combination. As a result proper testing and validation may be compromised.
