Indonesia's KPPU Accuses Shopee, Google of Monopoly
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta -The Indonesian Business Competition Supervisory Commission suspected two tech giants, PT Shopee International Indonesia, and PT Google Indonesia, of engaging in monopoly practices. Fanshurullah Asa, the chairman of the KPPU, said that Google allegedly dominated payment services with Google Pay, while Shopee Indonesia was suspected of monopolizing goods delivery services with Shopee Xpress.“We will process it when there is evidence.
