teaching children investing could only come with maturity in age. when they are too young to understand the need to gain financial independence through investing when everything is provided for them so easily, they will never be able to appreciate the lessons and have the motivation to learn. the question is.. are parents able to let go "in hunger"? Yes, I wanna achieve FIRE. Part of the reason is also that I'm tired of seeing the bosses' faces and deal with the stress of work. Am trying to achieve as one just needs to set goal on monthly income to have be it passive (self-generating income from investments) or active (part-time income or freelance assignments) and just live within your means. Unless you set a realistic target and be willing to forgo the constant pursuit of money as it will never be enough, you won't be able to achieve FIRE.  [lovely]

Just do it! More talks will just be opportunity costs as prices are moving up each day. If funds allow, will do both but at the moment will be AMD for me due to its lower price. [Speechless] [Cool]
