An "invisible external enemy" helped unify the internal differences. Musk mad at Trump because of his BBB hurts his business. He has tried to stop it (no matter for his own interests or put up a show for Tesla's shareholders that he's tried his best), the Bill had been passed. Time to move on for next round of cooperation/negotiation.

With BYD aggressive pricing strategy. A lot of smaller players will be out soon. They will dominate the EV market together with Tesla. I think the sale has nothing to do with profitability but the potential political risk between US and China.

Cannot see Elon would really pursuing that. He's trying to do anything just get Trump to discuss. Now the BBB has passed. Trump holds the cards. A lot of unknowns surrounding Tesla.

Australian business suffers relatively low impact from the trade wars. Investors see AU market as a safe haven especially those blue chips that unrelated to mining. CBA leads the way which should slowly reflect in other banks too. I would buy the financial sector ETF and picked a few selective stock with potential upside like Judo.

I recall there's a quote in the series House of Cards which Frank Underwood said  "Add up all your billions together and you get the GDP of Slovakia. I have the Federal Government of the United States of America. You money doesn't intimidate me. The most that you can buy is influence."

I was accumulating Tesla while the share price got smashed. I don't care the market sentiment towards Tesla. All I can see is the relationship between Elon and Donald Trump. Surely this four year will be a policy driven kind of growth for Tesla. It was evidenced when Donald Trump selling Tesla in front of the White House. All has changed after Elon's comments on the BBB. Where does he stand? I've liquidated my Tesla holdings after this.

Physical gold storage is a problem for a lot of people. I have a few gold coins I just ended up selling as paying for a secure storage facility is expensive. I'll invest with ETF.  If I do not have any gold exposure, I'll buy one tenth of my intended holdings just as a start to accumulate. Then add when any correction happens. As it was meant to be a hedge, the focus is not for short term gain.

This is a large sum sold by a director which makes me nervous though the chart still looks ok. I have sold mine to lick in some gains.
