The oil price hikes is due to supply shock not strong demand. It's already increasing cost of living which would dampen demand on consumer discretionary already. I doubt the RBA will raise rate. They will wait and see

People bought Bitcoin for different reasons. The early adopters are always those who distrust the current system, contrarians by nature. So when they see the trade is crowded, they sell. when they see the media calling out it's doomsday, they will be so happy and buy. For people who use leverage to buy, it's tough. Learn it the hard way to manage the position sizing. To me, a 50% drop? Lovely.

For people who wants to own a piece of SpaceX, the idea of owning Tesla now will allow them to front run the IPO appeals to them. A financial engineering move to prop up Tesla's price. 

Firstly, silver is not gold. They should be considered separately. Countries de-risk by seeking alternatives rather than all-in USD as safe haven. For fiat money, there's really no comparable. Therefore Central‑banks and official‑sector keep buying physical gold. Global economy remains volatile as Trump's policies changes so fast. Inflation, stagflation risks favourable for gold. Silver is not really be seen as store of value. The above does not apply to silver. So I doubt it can re-test the high for a good while.

The scenario of yen carry trade unwinding happened in Aug 24. It was still fresh in most people's minds. I doubt it would have the same effect this time around especially people has been calling it's coming for weeks already. 

The timing of all these events need to be investigated by the regulator. Any objective person will feel there's a potential of insiders trading happened. Buy back the stocks at sold price is the best way to show your confidences. 

An "invisible external enemy" helped unify the internal differences. Musk mad at Trump because of his BBB hurts his business. He has tried to stop it (no matter for his own interests or put up a show for Tesla's shareholders that he's tried his best), the Bill had been passed. Time to move on for next round of cooperation/negotiation. 

With BYD aggressive pricing strategy. A lot of smaller players will be out soon. They will dominate the EV market together with Tesla. I think the sale has nothing to do with profitability but the potential political risk between US and China. 

Cannot see Elon would really pursuing that. He's trying to do anything just get Trump to discuss. Now the BBB has passed. Trump holds the cards. A lot of unknowns surrounding Tesla. 

Australian business suffers relatively low impact from the trade wars. Investors see AU market as a safe haven especially those blue chips that unrelated to mining. CBA leads the way which should slowly reflect in other banks too. I would buy the financial sector ETF and picked a few selective stock with potential upside like Judo.
