      $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  I know Cathie Woods is selling, and that's noteworthy, however I think$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  will continue to rise with it's strong branding and R&D into AI (chips etc.). I think it may dip a little, however then have good strong upwards momentum. This should push the EV market higher also...

      Why aren’t futures available to trade on Tiger Trade in Australia? Is it ASIC & their previous “leverage restrictions” placed only on retail traders when Fridenberg was treasurer? Casinos &Pokies are still open for business though…

      Day6.Financial term|What is Futures ?

      @Tiger_Academy
      Futures that are completely different from spot markets.Spot markets involve actual goods (commodities) that can be traded, whereas futures are primarily not commodities but standardised, tradable contracts involving certain bulk commodities such as cotton, soybeans, oil, or financial assets such as stocks, bonds, and so on. With futures, it is mainly future events that are agreed upon, and the subject matter can be commodities or financial instruments.Simply put, with the future, you pay now to buy something in the future.Corn is now $300 a ton, so if you bought a ton of corn from someone for $300. That's called spot. But if you want to buy this ton of corn a month from now for $300, it's called futures.But suppose you are a farmer who grows corn for money, but you don't know if corn pric

      20%, I’m going all in here. I think there’s no real competition for what $NVDA(NVDA)$ do and offer, other than possibly the Tesla chips (according to some of the crypto AI cloud computing services data). In my humble opinion, I believe that NVIDIA will continue to capitalise on every AI opportunity, and are the strongest player (and will be in the future) in their industry by far…

      I am keeping an eye on $Broadcom(AVGO)$ and it’s upcoming stock split. Also $Lam Research(LRCX)$ is a high value stock I’d really like in my portfolio. $ARM Holdings Ltd(ARM)$ is one to watch for me also. I think the Energy sector will be an interesting landscape as many countries are trying to find green energy solutions, whilst policy still favours traditional industries…

      $Broadcom(AVGO)$ is my pick for the next big thing. Not sure it will reach $NVDA(NVDA)$ stats, however it’s one I’m looking to acquire soon or after the stock split. As for $Microsoft(MSFT)$, it is one in my portfolio, for it’s great long term investment play, and potential for expansion into other areas of AI.

      My best earners at the moment are; $SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$, $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$, $Alpha Metallurgical Resources Inc(AMR)$, and $Coinbase Global, Inc.(COIN)$. With the recent NVIDIA conference, AI is 🔥🔥, but DYOR. Long term that’s where most of my investments lie. You can this starting to cross over with news that APPLE were/are looking to use GOOGLE’s generative AI - what do tigers think about that? Considering Androids and iPhones are technically competitors. Dare I ask the question of where does mutual cooperation become an attempt at monopoly and/or anti competitive?

      I think the FED will keep current rates on hold. I speculate that they made a bit of noise about a rate reduction to keep most investors from a serious sell-off. I speculate also that the FED won’t necessarily drop rates if inflation is below 2%. It seems more investor panic management than any actual intention to cut rates 😖. But who knows, with a recession looming, I predict that rate cuts won’t happen until late in the year, December even 😣☹️😭…

      Fed Rate Cut in June Unconfirmed, Are We Due for Correction?

      @SPACE ROCKET
      An interest-rate cut at the Federal Reserve's June meeting, though now widely expected, should not be viewed as decision that has already been made, Fed watchers say. When Fed Chair Jerome Powell's press conference ended last Wednesday, expectations that the Fed would cut rates in June shot higher, ending the week at a 67% chance in futures markets, up from just above 50% earlier in the week, according to the CME Group. But economists think the bond market is getting ahead of itself. "The bond market has expected them to move a little early the whole time. I wouldn't be surprised if they wait one more meeting [until July]," said Ethan Harris, retired chief global economist at Bank of America. The January and February consumer inflation readings were "two bad months," and they n
