Bilibili: Tapping Into China's AI Boom With Chinese YouTube

SummaryAI is viewed as a solution to economic concerns such as de-globalization and inflation, with generative AI transforming productivity for individuals and SMEs, and augmenting human talent rather than replacing it.Chinese companies, including Bilibili, are aggressively developing generative AI models, with Bilibili using AI to boost income streams, improve search functionality, and increase user engagement and content creator growth.Despite geopolitical and delisting risks, Bilibili's strong business performance, robust operational metrics, and promising future growth make it an attractive investment opportunity, particularly for those comfortable with Chinese stocks.Cheerful young man looking at smartphone in streetJohnnyGreig/E+ via Getty ImagesDe-globalization, Inflation, and the S

      Amazon: Why AWS Won

SummaryToday, I will explore a few topics with you, principal among which will be a comparison of the operating philosophies of AWS and Azure. We will explore the strategies that both businesses have employed and what their futures may look like based on the strategies they employ in the future. We will also discuss equity investing through the lens of risk = return, as well as Amazon's ad businesses and the TAM thereof. In short, while I am not nearly as bullish on Amazon as I've been over the last year, I do believe it still represents a good value for investors at these levels.Exterior view of the Amazon Logistics delivery agency in Velizy-Villacoublay, FranceHJBCA Brief Introduction That Explores Nuance Of Risk = Return And Equity InvestingOver the last 9 months, I have been heavily focus

Bank Of America Q2: Market Hype Vs. Insider Selling

SummaryI view Bank of America currently as a momentum stock, especially after its Q2 earnings report. It has attracted the highest trading volume on the open market among banking stocks.Such activities are in stark contrast to its insider activities (or the lack of buying activities).I will explain why I agree with the insiders and see other better alternatives.Bank Of America"s Earning Exceed Analysts" ExpectationsBrandon BellThesisBank stocks have drawn a lot of attention recently. First, the SVB sell-off in the first quarter of this year triggered high selling pressure. Then the recent Q2 earning season reversed course and created a good amount of buying pressure. OCBC: to buy or not to buy?

Systemic risk is elevated but below the levels seen during past crises as Russia is not well integrated into the global financial system. Singapore banks’ exposures to Europe and Russia are minimal. The Fed is expected to kick-start the interest rate upcycle with a hike of 25bp next week. Russia is not well integrated into the global financial system. Financial linkages with other countries have been reduced since the European Union first imposed sanctions after Russia annexed Crimea and Sevastopol in 2014. Foreign central banks have not tapped on swap lines and repo facilities established by the Fed, indicating most countries didn’t experience dislocation in their financial systems. Using the past three crises (Europe's Sovereign Debt Crisis, Crash in Oil & Gas and COVID-19 pandemic)

You Better Use Your Money To Visit Disney's Parks Rather Than Invest In Disney's Stock

The Walt Disney Co ($DIS) is a member of the Dow Jones Industrial Average ($DJI,$DIA) prestigious index for over 30 years (Joined on May 6, 1991). For ages, the stock has delivered its shareholders amazing returns that have not only topped its direct benchmarks*, but even exceeded those delivered by the overall market. Nonetheless, over the past two years the coronavirus has turned the world upside-down, making us all feel as if we're taking a ride on one of Disney Parks' famous roller-coasters. Thing is, the coronavirus has hit everybody, Disney and its media/entertainment peer group alike. Therefore, attributing the stock's underperformance solely to COVID seems like a lame excuse. Not only is the stock delivering way less impressive results over the past two years, but for the first tim

$(BABA)$ was at $275 and then crossed $300 two weeks later. Since then, it has lost $450 billion in market cap. I don't think any stock has ever shed so much in market cap in history. $(TSLA)$ came close in spring when it went from $900 to $550. But that was still a $300 billion drawdown and pales in comparison to what $(BABA)$ has shed in the course of a year. If anyone knows of a stock that has shed more in market cap, let me know.

$Sea Ltd(SE)$ is such a beast. Should’ve held my shares instead of taking profits just below 200…have since re-added though my current average is not great.
