AMD - Post-earnings plays
- For a day, it had a bad reaction to earnings, but have recovered well
- Concern - Still on a lower high price action forming a descending triangle
- Multiple MA lines are close to one another ==> signalling a possible push up or down
- As long as stay above 108 (as shared previously in many posts), it is not bearish yet.
My Watch/Plays
- After earnings, have closed most of my AMD sold puts at good value.
- Post earnings, after this coming week, IV crush should be reset already. So can start selling puts again.
- Looking at strikes 95 or 90 or 85 puts with a longer expiry
- Still expecting AMD to spike up to be equal high or new high next weeks/months.

For now, AMD will continue to accrue marketshare in the data center market, just as they have in the consumer space. They rested on their laurels for far too long, and until Pat took over, at Intel, they remained stagnant even though AMD was making steady gains.
I tend to feel the same as I feel the Nasdaq run has been hitting a very strong ceiling and AMD is lagging in the turn down. Which means AMD may fall more than others like Nvidia and Tesla which have already been falling off their recent peaks.

My strategy is to short AMD while going long on Intel to maximize return.
Buy as much AMD stock and Calls as you can here. You cant go wrong!!
