$Sea Ltd(SE)$ It's impressive how much SE has fallen from grace. While I am still holding on position in SE at the moment I do believe that this stock has a modest upside at the current price. It's worth a consideration for a speculative position. None of its competition is new. SE is the dominant player in its markets, off course it won't grow as fast as someone just starting out and burning billions! SEA has challenges, certainly, will require patience no doubt, but as a long term perspective, i dont see how not to be long on SE. I will keep buying. Great long opportunity. I had been buying Sea Ltd since it dropping. I have faith and confidence in this company. The 3 business models for gaming, e-commerce and digital banking are making profit now. Therefore, I do not see why the stock price will not be going up. You must keep for long term and you can see the price shot to the moon. But overall, I think 4Q results will be stronger than 3Q since they don't have to spend as much on marketing in Indo and boost from 11.11. Growing DFS and stabilization of DE might help SEA further. Unexpected catalysts would be Tiktok shop ban in Malaysia and maybe even Vietnam.
But overall interest rate environment is a big downer for SEA. So valuation will still be down for a while. But SEA is indeed cheap vs. Grab and other consumer tech play in the region
