Yes, indeed, rest in peace to Charlie Munger, our trading guru incomparable. His impact on me was not in trading but in the video when he was intervied by CNN live on what he thinks of my deceased former prime minister and then minister mentor, , Mr Lee Kuan Yew. Google Charlie Munger on Lee Kuan Yew and Singapore's success. In that video, Charloe Munger shared his thoighys on the economic miracle of Singapore under the baton of Mr Lee Kuan Yew and how it influenced China's success politically, socially and of coirse economically. That video showed the humility of Charlie Munger. Being the great man himself, being the vice-chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, he praised the man whom he admired most, no holds barred. I was so touched then and went on to read up on the man.
Yes, Charlier Munger has affected my trading style all these years. He did say that the best thing to do in trading is not to simply buy and sell stocks but to wait for the money to come. What a great man who advocates PATIENCE in trading. Hence, in my lont yerm account, I have held on to great megacap stocks like Apple, AAPL, Alphabet, GOOGL, Microsoft, MSFT and the like. Then when Tesla was trading at 1,000 I bought when it dipped and held for dear life. Yes patience does pay when you wait when you trafe the good megacaps.
Follow Charlie Munger's great advice and you will become rich, just like Warren Buffet. He had said without Charlie Munger's guidance, Bershire Hathaway would not be the mammoth stock it is today.
