Charts Tell You | When will MSFT surpass AAPL?

In the past decade, $Microsoft(MSFT)$ ‘s market value surpassed $Apple(AAPL)$ three times, each time signaling the arrival (or arriving) of a "bear market".

The longest twice was due to concerns about iPhone sales.

Fun fact: AAPL's beta is much greater than MSFT's, with adjusted β=1.042:1.004 over the past 10 years and adjusted β=1.07:0.97 over the past 5 years.

This means that for Microsoft to catch up with Apple, it is more likely to happen during a "bear market" (resistant to decline).
