S&P hit 5500 or not this year?

Will $S&P 500(.SPX)$ hit 5500 this year? Wah, Fed Powell talk only on Wednesday like machiam chillin 'Aiyo, no need worry lah,' even with all the price hikes everywhere, inflation seem to be coming back. He just sit down, relax and say that they will take a see how approach, like chillin in kopitiam drink teh tarik. Then he also say, 'Eh, got 3 rate cuts later ah.' After he talk, the stock market go up up up until reach sky high, then next day also up up up.

Many analyst now change their mind about S&P targets. The most kiasu one say 5500, while others also quite optimistic, say 5400. Got many reasons why S&P going up so high. Companies now smarter, using AI and all, so make more money. Plus, got rate cuts, like got discount coupon for pasar malam, so people borrow more money to spend, giving the economy a boost.

But, got risk also, cannot forget. If the 10 year treasury yield go up like the price of chilli crab, above 5%, wah, confirm headache. Also, if petrol price hit $4 a gallon, wah, inflation come like auntie collecting plastic bags. Then, don’t forget there may also be geopolitical risk still.

Now, S&P already fly high high, like Superman. Moving averages also show very steady. Last 2 days keep going up, but today like roti prata, flat flat only. Maybe people take money and run already because all the calls make money already on friday.

So, what you think? Share lah, like lah, comment lah! Don't shy shy, Singaporeans also can talk about stocks, not only talk about food!
