Option Strategies: ROKU& GOOGL
Hello everyone! Today I want to share some option strategies with you!
1.
Thinking of adding to our long position on $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ . Lots of good analysis out there. In a nutshell ...
- Higher lows on the daily chart uptrend
- Tested and bounced off 200EMA
- FOMC out of the way and J-Pow's remarks are "bullishly-dovish" for the market (at least for now)
- Currently has the lowest forward P/E among the Mag7, thus presenting an attractive investment opportunity, quant model continues to rate and rank GOOGL very highly We'd prefer to wait for a pullback to add to our position. Will watch to see if price action cools off a bit.
It shows sentiment on the high side based on net options and net institutional signals. However, upside breakout signal on the downtrend and downside breakout on the uptrend, so there might be another buying opportunity coming up. We shall see.
2.
$Roku Inc(ROKU)$ looks like an interesting optionselling put opportunity. Here's why we think that ...
- Dumped for earnings and is consolidating in this 61-66 channel, thus establishing a bottom at 61
- Very strong volume support in this channel
- Based on MACD, currently on a positive move (although it looks like the move is weakening ... will have to monitor it and the broader market this upcoming week to get a sense of where it might be heading)
Our trade would be to sell the Apr 12 expiration $60 put strike.
