$Alibaba(BABA)$ $Alibaba(09988)$ Guys! I have a question. Statistics show they have $600B in cash, however, it also show negative interest income. If they have $600B in cash, presumably in the bank, how can they have negative interest income unless they are hiding the cash in giganic mattress or something, lol. Can someone make sense out of this for me? If they really have that much cash in the bank, the interest income alone should be huge. So this does not make any sense. I know many Chinese companies hold huge cash pile, which is very unusual and I never felt easy about believing their balance sheet.
