The AI monetization roadmap should benefit software companies last
The previous mobile internet monetization cycle taught us that mobile internet monetization benefits semiconductor companies first, followed by infrastructure, with software companies being the last beneficiaries.
The AI monetization roadmap could follow a similar pattern, benefiting semiconductor and infrastructure companies first, followed by AI software companies.
I believe investors should focus more on semiconductors and infrastructure companies at this stage, as the leading AI applications/softwares are still uncertain.
My favorite semiconductor and infrastructure companies remain Microsoft $Microsoft(MSFT)$ , Alphabet, Amazon, Nvidia, and TSMC $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ .
ARM $ARM Holdings Ltd(ARM)$ , ASML $ASML Holding NV(ASML)$ , and AMD $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ valuations still appear expensive but are worth reassessing once valuations become more reasonable.
