The stock is hovering around the convergence of the 20, 40, and 50 EMAs. Historically, when these three moving averages converge, Tesla's price tends to hover around them for a while, seemingly waiting for a catalyst to break free from this range-bound state. I sold these options with a margin of about 10-15% away from its trading price at the time. Moving forward, I'll be on the lookout for opportunities to sell both call and put options as we approach the next earnings report. I believe that’s when the price may finally break out of this consolidation phase. By strategically placing these options, I'm positioning myself to capitalize on the potential breakout, all while managing risk within a well-defined range.
