why I love to Invest

Investing It is where people who are academically dumber can excel with the right mindset and behaviours.

You can read up on Ronald Read, a cleaner who passed away with $8M in stocks.

Why I enjoy investing so much is because every stock and its underlying company is a story. Each of them are telling a story and we get an update on the next chapter everytime they update us on their new products/services and their earnings every quarter.

When you invest, you get to have yourself financially invested in their business and future, their story.

Analysts will write up reports every few months with divided views on where the company is heading, everyone will have their own perspective and u get to see it all play out before ur eyes, I love it. This is my kind of netflix drama series.

An example of a story I'm invested in now is Palantir. It's so interesting as it is a data analytics company that hasn't been making profits for longest time that it has been around and their promises are huge. Against their competitors, they seem to have a competitive edge on their products. And I love how their CEO thinks, Peter Thiel and his many contrarian theories that he directly inject into the business he created. I get access to his thoughts through any interview I can find online and his book Zero To One.

And if Palantir is as good as they say they will be and I would get returns on my investment as their stock price rises.

There is also more hands off approach to it and so much more to share but this is what investing is to me :D
