1.Emerging Markets vs US Equities

-or cyclical rhyme?

I had a comment on this chart 👆that relative performance doesn't matter for most people (unless they are doing pairs trades)

But generally speaking you do see better absolute performance during those cycles of better relative performance, and vice versa:

-heading into the rough patch now

-then into year-end rally

3.completely normal things

4.2022 was a disaster for 60/40

-and there were clues...

-the 60/40 portfolio was extreme expensive

-(both stocks and bonds were expensive!)

In hindsight, it never stood a chance
