🌟🌟🌟It's only 59 days to the US Presidential Election on November 5. The Race is getting closer with the first debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris scheduled to take place in Philadelphia on Tuesday September 10. The stakes are high and this maybe the only public debate between the 2 candidates before the election. Who will win the US Presidential Election? According to the polls Kamala Harris may have a narrow lead. She has raised more than double what Trump has raised in August. Her campaign team announced on Friday that USD 361 million from nearly 3 million donors was raised in Kamala Harris' first full month as a candidate. In contrast Donald Trump's team announced on Wednesday that he brought in USD 130 million over the same period. Harris' team said that it ended the month with USD 404 million in hand for the final sprint to Election Day. It is USD 109 million more than Trump's campaign. In such a short term, I am pleasantly surprised that Kamala Harris has galvanised the type of energy and enthusiasm required to win a closely fought election. As a non US citizen, I believe that Kamala Harris would make a better president than Donald Trump. For starters, she is younger and more energetic at 59 years old compared to Donald Trump who is 78 years old. There are questions surrounding Donald Trump's mental acuity. According to media reports, his inability to focus on one train of thought appears to be growing worse. One such example was his response to a question from the audience in Wisconsin about reducing inflation. He spoke about his belief that Americans don't eat bacon anymore to his assertion that wind energy doesn't work. As Kamala Harris energetically lays out how she wants to improve America, Trump 's imprecise, impulsive way of communicating may make it more difficult for him to be an effective president. Another reason I believe that Trump is losing popularity is the declining share price of $Trump Media & Technology(DJT)$ which has recently sank to new lows. DJT dropped by 14% in the past 5 days to a new low of USD 16.82 in contrast to a 52 week high of USD 79.38. Trump Media is a major contributor to Donald Trump's net worth. In regulatory filings, Trump Media have said its value may diminish if Trump's popularity falters. Another factor is also weighing on the stock as Donald Trump is less than a month away from being able to cash out his paper wealth. This US Presidential Election has significant implications for China-US relations. I believe that if Kamala Harris wins, the China US relationship will be better. Kamala Harris has selected Philip Gordon as her national security advisor. Gordon has a more pragmatic approach in contrast to the more hawkish approach by Donald Trump. Trump has said that he will impose 60% tariffs on Chinese imports as well as a 10% tariff in every goods coming into the US.
