FED - Rate Cuts Expectations

There’s an unusual level of uncertainty in the market about the Federal Reserve’s upcoming September meeting. As of Friday's close, investors were anticipating rate cuts totaling 34 basis points.

This includes a 36% chance of a more aggressive 50-basis-point cut, assuming the Fed cuts rates by at least 25 basis points.

Looking ahead, the market is pricing in a total of 113 basis points in rate cuts over the next three Fed meetings.
