Daily Charts - Earnings Yield vs Cash Rate

1.Earnings Yield vs Cash Rate -- should we be concerned?

Historically

>> Low/negative = bad

>> High/positive = good $.SPX(.SPX)$ $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$

2.Seems most people only talk about valuations from an absolute sense (is the market cheap/expensive vs history, by itself)

But do NOT forget about *relative value*

3.Remember "Sell in May" ?

What they don't tell you is you have to come back, and it's statistically time to come back... Nov-Apr is the best seasonal patch of the calendar for stocks whether bull or bear

4.Renewable Energy Equities?

5.Another interesting chart on #CreditSpreads -- the $Cboe Volatility Index(VIX)$ has very different things to say about equity risk then credit spreads do about credit risk...

Credit too complacent?

6.Passing of the generational Wealth torch

-young always feel poor

-old folk always seem rich

-yes some things are different

-but the patterns and paths are similar

Some will say it's not and that we have things harder, and maybe we do, but I would say that ignores what's more similar than different in the path... and more to the point represents a sinful discarding of agency.
