For instance, Anders has been here for many months telling us multiple times a day that Kitty had left us and is never coming back.

Why would he lie constantly every day about this?

actually there would be more reason to doubt people like you that have a positive outlook on an empirically and demonstrably failing company, you could be encouraging people to buy your rotting stock because you bought into the hype too late. Take the L and move on :)
