Options Market Statistics: Oracle Plunges Over 11% After-Hours on Cloud Miss


$Oracle(ORCL)$   ranked sixth with a neutral put/call ratio of 0.53 and a sky-high IV rank of 81.38%, signaling extreme volatility anticipation as volume hit 0.64 million contracts against 2.05 million in open interest. Shares tumbled more than 11% in extended trading after the company reported underwhelming cloud segment growth, with overall cloud revenues up 34% to $7.98 billion and infrastructure climbing 68% to $4.08 billion—figures that fell short of forecasts and highlighted delays in converting recent large AI contracts into actual income.  


$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$   entered the actives as a new entrant with a bearish put/call ratio of 0.71 and zero IV rank, suggesting directional caution as volume reached 0.80 million contracts versus 3.65 million in open interest. Shares advanced 3.3% following news of a U.S. Navy deal to optimize nuclear submarine logistics and cut downtime, funded by $448 million from President Trump's key infrastructure legislation.  


$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$   ranked fourth with a bullish put/call ratio of 0.14 and a low IV rank of 9.83%, indicating optimistic bets as volume totaled 0.81 million contracts against 1.72 million in open interest. Shares gained 2.22% after reporting November revenues of NT$343.61 billion, up 24.5% year-over-year, with cumulative January-November figures hitting NT$3.47 trillion, reflecting a 32.8% increase.
