I am not going to lie. The drop was painful... say what you may, as you can see from my chart below, I was done with my selling... in fact, I had sold a little earlier, before that monstrous jump!
Yup, I also did not sell out when that run happened. You might think I have been silly not to take all my winnings. You might also laugh at my bravado... all for nothing? [Facepalm] [Spurting] Maybe... after all, we only live once.
I want to see where this takes me. In fact, I have been accumulating silver miners these past weeks after the correction happened.
Let's face it. The run-up was scary and I had called it. It was brought about by speculators in both China and overseas retail participants. This is on top of the participation by corporate players. If you look at the gold price today, you will probably get a better sense of what is really going on. The market is still concerned about the diminishing USD. With no useful currencies alternatives, there is simply no place to hide than gold and silver. As I also mentioned in an earlier post, cryptocurrencies led by bitcoin have not proven themselves during this confidence lacking period.
Furthermore, with March fast approaching, silver inventories on Shanghai Futures Exchange have fast plummeting, CME will be in for an exciting time when it's time for March delivery 🚚!
I am all for orderly price appreciation, especially in important assets such as gold and silver. However, with continued pressure on silver inventories, we will likely see another euphoria or tsunami 🌊 like waves in the coming weeks... beware of what is ahead of us and stay strong.
