$Micron Technology(MU)$ $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$  $Microsoft(MSFT)$  📈🧠💾 $MU AI Memory Supercycle Meets Earnings Catalyst: $440 Breakout Test as $META Model Delays, $MSFT $1T Reset and $AMZN ARPU Pivot Reshape Big Tech 💾🧠📈

📈 I’m watching $MU closely into fiscal Q2 earnings on Wednesday 18Mar26 as the AI memory supercycle collides with a major technical inflection point. The stock gained +2.9% today and is once again pressing against the $440 resistance level that has capped rallies since the 30Jan all-time high of $455.50. A sustained break above that zone could open the door to price discovery, while downside structure shows initial support forming near $405 where prior consolidation attracted institutional demand.

Over a longer horizon the move has been remarkable, with Micron delivering +344.6% year-over-year gains as AI infrastructure spending accelerates across the semiconductor ecosystem.

🔍 The fundamental backdrop remains exceptionally strong.

High-bandwidth memory supply is effectively sold out through 2026 as hyperscalers race to secure capacity for next-generation AI clusters powered by accelerators from companies such as $NVDA and networking silicon leaders like $AVGO. At the same time inventory levels across DRAM and NAND have normalised and pricing continues to recover across the memory cycle.

Consensus expectations currently sit near:

• EPS: $8.69

• Revenue: $19.15B

Those figures imply triple-digit growth rates, highlighting how deeply AI compute demand is reshaping semiconductor supply chains. Several analysts have lifted price targets in recent weeks, reinforcing growing conviction ahead of the report.

🤖 While AI infrastructure spending continues to surge, cracks are appearing in parts of the application layer.

$META slipped about 2% after confirmation that the Avocado AI model will face further delays until May or June, while the Frontier model reportedly underperformed internal benchmarks. The share is now testing a key trendline drawn from the November–January lows.

Options positioning reflects a market wrestling with that uncertainty.

The 10-day put-call ratio has climbed to 0.74, close to historic highs and signalling elevated hedging activity. Yet today’s tape flipped more constructive with roughly 195K calls traded, about 2x average volume, concentrated heavily in 0DTE $720 strikes.

📉 $MSFT Capitalisation Reset 🩸

Since October 2025 Microsoft has erased more than $1T in market value, sliding from above $4T to just under $3T in roughly five months.

For perspective:

• A $10,000 investment on 28Oct25 would now be worth approximately $7,500.

This recalibration arrives while Microsoft continues deploying extraordinary capital toward AI infrastructure and strategic partnerships. Azure growth remains strong by historical standards, yet investors appear to be reassessing the balance between AI dominance and the scale of capital required to sustain it.

📺 Amazon Expands Ecosystem Monetisation

$AMZN confirmed that from 10Apr the ad-free Prime Video tier will transition to “Prime Video Ultra”, costing an additional $4.99 per month on top of the existing $14.99 Prime membership.

The move represents another deliberate step toward ecosystem unbundling designed to lift average revenue per user across Amazon’s vast subscriber base. Bloomberg reporting also suggests the annual Prime Day event could shift forward from July into June, potentially pulling forward retail demand and advertising spend.

🛒 Retail flows are beginning to show the first signs of fatigue.

JPMorgan data indicates weekly retail stock purchases have fallen roughly 30%, with inflows easing to $6.7B compared with the $7.1B average.

Demand remains concentrated in core AI infrastructure leaders such as $NVDA, $MSFT and $AVGO, yet the broader retail bid appears to be moderating as valuations climb into 2026.

Taken together these crosscurrents reveal a market carefully balancing two powerful forces. Explosive AI infrastructure demand continues to propel semiconductor leaders like $MU, while delays in frontier models, rising capital intensity and moderating retail participation are forcing investors to become far more selective about where the next wave of gains may emerge.

👉❓If AI infrastructure demand keeps accelerating while retail flows soften, does institutional capital become the dominant force sustaining the next leg of the AI trade?

    Your breakdown of the $Microsoft(MSFT)$
capitalisation reset really caught my attention. That’s a massive macro recalibration while AI capex expands. If $Micron Technology(MU)$ breaks structure above $440 it says a lot about positioning across semis. Also watching $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ momentum for confirmation.

I’m tracking the memory cycle you highlighted. The $Micron Technology(MU)$ earnings setup sits right at that $440 resistance with volatility compressing into the event. Cross asset flows into AI semis still look strong. Watching $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ momentum and liquidity pockets for signals on broader positioning.

Reading your post I’m thinking about structure across the AI complex. $Micron Technology(MU)$ pushing resistance while $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ volatility picks up feels like a regime shift moment. Options flow around gamma and Vanna could get interesting into earnings. Keeping an eye on $Broadcom(AVGO)$ momentum.

ngl that $Micron Technology(MU)$ setup you wrote about is kinda wild. price sitting right under 440 while AI demand keeps ripping. yeah the memory cycle looks real tbh. I’m also watching $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ cause when that thing moves the whole semi momentum vibe shifts
