You Can’t Change Someone Who Doesn’t Want to See

I’ve stopped trying to correct people.

Not because I don’t have a view.

But because I’ve learned something the hard way:

Once a belief is formed, most people don’t look for truth —

they look for confirmation.

You can show data.

You can explain logic.

You can even prove them wrong.

It rarely matters.

They’ll defend the decision.

Justify the mistake.

Protect the ego.

So I changed my approach.

I don’t argue to win anymore.

I observe.

I don’t force my perspective.

I offer it — once.

If they’re not ready, I let it go.

Because not every battle is worth fighting.

And not every lesson needs to be taught by me.

Respect over ego.

Silence over friction.

Timing over force.

Funny thing is —

people often come back later…

when they’re ready to see it themselves.

That’s when the message lands.

Not when you push it.

But when they’re open to it
