🚀 SK Hynix Advances Next-Gen NAND Production to Support AI Growth:

SK Hynix is gearing up to begin mass production of its next-generation 375-layer 3D NAND by the end of the year. Rather than building new manufacturing capacity, the company plans to upgrade and repurpose existing production lines at its M15 facility.

The move comes as demand for AI infrastructure continues to grow. As agentic AI systems rely heavily on large-scale data storage, retrieval, contextual memory, and checkpointing, reducing storage costs per bit is becoming increasingly important. SK Hynix’s higher-density NAND technology could help meet the rising storage requirements of next-generation AI applications while improving cost efficiency.
