$NU ARPU Surges 40% as the Growth Story Gets Stronger π€―
$Nu Holdings Ltd.(NU)$ 's monetization engine is accelerating.
π° Monthly ARPU has reached $17.1, up 40% YoY and 7.5% QoQ, marking a major reversal from Q1 2025 when ARPU fell 1.8%.
That earlier decline triggered concern among Nu investors, but the weakness was largely explained by rapid customer acquisition in Mexico and Colombia, where many new users were still under-monetized.
π The thesis is now playing out. As Nu expands its product offering and deepens its presence in both markets, those newer customers are generating more revenue, helping drive ARPU higher.
And the bigger picture is striking:
Two years ago
-
π₯ Customers: 105M
-
π΅ ARPU: $11
-
π Net income: $1.5B
-
π²Share price: $14
Today
-
π₯ Customers: 139M
-
π΅ ARPU: $17
-
π Net income: $3.6B
-
π²Share price: $14
The customer base has grown by roughly 32%, ARPU by 55%, and net income has more than doubled β yet the share price remains around the same level.
With a forward P/E of just 15x, the market may still be underpricing Nu's improving monetization and earnings power. π
The question is no longer whether Nu can grow customers. It's how much more revenue it can extract from the customers it already has.
