據《華爾街日報》3月10日報道，知情人士透露，Meta計劃在未來幾個月分多輪宣佈進一步裁員，裁員規模將與去年裁員13%的規模大致相當。
知情人士說，新一輪裁員的第一波預計將於下週宣佈，非工程類職位可能受到的衝擊尤其嚴重。與此同時，預計Meta還將關閉一些項目和團隊。知情人士稱，將被削減的項目包括Meta的硬件和元宇宙部門RealityLabs中的可穿戴設備項目，這表明短期內Meta將放棄推廣虛擬現實和增強現實產品，而將其作爲長期的研究工作。
