$SBS TRANSIT LTD(S61.SI)$ is a multi modal public transport operator in Singapore operating bus and rail services. $COMFORTDELGRO CORPORATION LTD(C52.SI)$ owns 75% of SBS Transit. It is the largest bus operator in Singapore and operates the North East Line and LRT in Sengkang and Punggol.
Results for the 1st half 2021 showed $SBS TRANSIT LTD(S61.SI)$ revenue increased by 6.2% to Singapore Dollars 640.8 million as a result of higher rail ridership and service fees. Group operating profit rose by 18.5% to Singapore Dollars 38.2 million. Net profit increased by 11.9% to Singapore Dollars 36.5 million.
$SBS TRANSIT LTD(S61.SI)$ has a wide moat and with the reopening of Singapore's economy, revenue will be higher with higher ridership. Best of all it pays steady dividends half yearly.
