thanksXiaomi is about to doom ?
@ToughCoyote:Now that new smartphone brand is being started by lei jun the founder of one plus one question always ponder me what are the impacts on xiaomis business. Can it survive? Does the financial results cab forecast this question? In this work I have reviewed this angle. Because I expect a bear run for $XIAOMI-W(01810)$stock I am keeping an eye on it. In the first quarter of 2022, XIAOMI's income and profit fell short of the market's expectations, and there was a big gap. Previously, according to Bloomberg data, the market unanimously expected XIAOMI Q1 to receive 74.6 billion yuan and an operating profit of 3.348 billion yuan. The fact that the profit is not as good as expected is that under the former circumstances, the smart phone owned by XIAOMI has failed. Judging from XIAOMI's three major businesses, the revenue from smart phone services is 45.763 billion yuan, that from IoT and consumer products is 19.477 billion yuan, and that from Internet services is 7.113 billion yuan. In the same period last year, XIAOMI earned 51.5 billion yuan from smart phone services, 15.2 billion yuan from IoT and consumer products, and 6.6 billion yuan from Internet services. In the past year, the revenue of XIAOMI's main service smart phone dropped 11.14% compared with the same period last year, representing the beginning of XIAOMI's service foundation. Although other services have increased to varying degrees, there has been no decline in mobile phone services, which has directly led to the decline in XIAOMI's overall service revenue. From the long-term point of view of the company, the mobile phone does not work, and the growth of XIAOMI's other services is also like the source of water. In the short term, earnings and profits in the first quarter fell short of the market's expectations, and it will be seen that XIAOMI's stock market has gone up recently, and it is likely that XIAOMI's stock market will be held up for some time in the future. From the global mobile phone market, according to Canalys data, XIAOMI sold 3850 smart phones worldwide in the first quarter of 2022, ranking third, with a market share of 12.6%. In the same period in 2021, XIAOMI sold more than 4940 smart phones worldwide. In other words, in the first quarter, XIAOMI lost 1090 million mobile phones compared with the same period last year. $XIAOMI-W(01810)$ @TigerStars@Daily_Discussion@CaptainTiger
